The Israeli military reported that it killed one Lebanese individual supported by Iran and who had planned an attack on Israel.

On the 4th local time, the Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement saying that on the 3rd, relying on so-called precise intelligence, they launched an airstrike against Lebanon, killing a Lebanese person supported and commanded by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, Qassem Salah Housseini. The Israeli forces stated that Qassem organized and participated in the smuggling of weapons from Syria and Lebanon to Israel and the West Bank of Jordan through Syrian and Lebanese merchants, in order to plan and launch attacks against Israel.
The Israeli Defense Minister Katz posted on social media on the 4th that in the past 24 hours, the Israeli military has launched strong actions, which have thwarted threats against Israel in Syria and Lebanon.
