According to the German police, on July 4th local time, a long-distance bus traveling from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Vienna, Austria, overturned around 2:30 AM near the highway in the northeastern state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The incident resulted in at least 31 injuries. Among the injured, 25 were lightly hurt, 6 suffered more serious injuries, and one was in critical condition.
Following the accident, a large number of police forces, rescue helicopters, and firefighters were deployed for emergency response. The section of the road where the accident occurred was temporarily closed, but it reopened by noon that day. (Reported by Ruan Jiawen)
