On July 4th, local time, President Donald Trump signed the “Bigger is Better” tax and spending bill into law.
The House of Representatives passed the “Bigger is Better” bill, championed by President Trump, with a vote of 218 in favor to 214 against on the afternoon of July 3rd.
The bill has been controversial for its implications of federal aid cuts, increased long-term debt, and tax relief for the wealthy and large corporations. Two Republican members of Congress voted against it during the vote.
