The police in Central Texas, USA, reported on the evening of the 4th that a flood triggered by heavy rains has resulted in over 20 deaths and the whereabouts of more than 20 girls participating in summer camps remain unknown. Rescue workers in Texas continued their search for the missing girls during the night of the 4th.
According to CNN, some parents of the missing girls have also posted photos of their children on social media, hoping to receive information about their whereabouts. On the social media page of the Ker County Sheriff’s Office, local residents have shared photos of their missing family members, hoping for assistance.
Texas Governor Abbott stated that the search operation would continue overnight. Texas Deputy Governor Patrick earlier mentioned that the missing children might still be hiding in trees or simply lost contact.
