The Indian aviation accident investigation authority submitted a preliminary investigation report on the crash of an Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft to the Civil Aviation Authority and other relevant departments on June 8th. On the afternoon of June 12th, local time, an Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft from India to the UK crashed shortly after takeoff at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, resulting in the deaths of over 270 people on board and on the ground. Both black boxes on the plane have been recovered. This marks the first fatal aviation disaster involving the Boeing 787 model, with teams from multiple countries assisting in the investigation.
