On the 10th local time, the National Meteorological Agency of Spain warned that from the 11th local time onwards, several regions in the country will experience “extremely strong” storms and heavy rainfall among other extreme weather conditions. These extreme weather events are expected to severely impact the northeastern part of the Iberian Peninsula, lasting at least until the 12th.
Spain has three autonomous regions under rainfall and storm warnings, with the Autonomous Community of Catalonia issuing an orange alert for both rainfall and storms. (Reporter: Liao Junhua)
