Cailian Press, July 12th – According to reports, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Defense acknowledged that the U.S. Air Force base in Qatar was hit by an Iranian ballistic missile during the June attack. On June 23rd local time, the Iranian armed forces released a statement announcing a missile strike on the U.S. military’s Udair airbase in Qatar. The statement claimed that this action was a response to the U.S. military’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran stated on the 23rd that the number of missiles used in this operation was equivalent to the number of bombs dropped by the U.S. during its attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
