The “Russian Newspaper” described the painting, which features a house, a girl, and a dog, with the title “Belgorod Does Not Surrender.”
“For us, air defense work has become the norm in our lives,” said Mr. Gladkov to President Putin that day, highlighting the severe challenges faced by residents in border regions. Mr. Gladkov presented this gift to President Putin, who took it and carefully examined it before expressing his gratitude.
