According to statistics from the Fukuoka Weather Bureau in Japan, there have been a total of 2006 earthquakes with magnitudes reaching or exceeding 1 on the Tuguhara Islands near Kagoshima Prefecture since June 21st until 8:00 AM on July 14th.
The weather bureau stated that although the number of earthquakes varies daily, it cannot be said that their occurrence has significantly decreased. They also called for continued vigilance in the coming period against the possibility of earthquakes with a magnitude of around 6. (Reported by He Xinlei)
