Trump suddenly made a 180-degree turn.
On July 14th, in front of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, “Daddy” Trump said he was very, very angry with Russia and that he would be taking tough action against Putin.
“If we can’t reach an agreement within 50 days, we will impose very severe tariffs on Russia. The tariffs will be about 100%, which you call ‘secondary tariffs’, but you understand what this means.”
1. If the tariffs are 100%, it means there could be no trade between the US and Russia. But don’t worry, in reality, after rounds of sanctions, there is hardly any trade between the US and Russia.
2. “Secondary tariffs”, meaning sanctions against countries that purchase Russian oil, US media has said that this mainly targets India and China. Does the US also sanction China and India?
3. With 50 days left, that is, Trump’s new threat has a 50-day time limit. However, from past practices, Trump could still delay for another 50 days, followed by another 50…
But it’s clear that this is Trump’s most severe and aggressive attitude towards Putin.
Trump seemed somewhat disappointed because ”
he had a long and sometimes confusing relationship with Putin, who Trump once praised for his decision to invade Ukraine. However, he seems to be furious at the fact that his proposal to end the war was largely ignored in Moscow.”
Trump claimed that he thought he had reached an agreement several times. “Many times, I would come home and tell her, ‘First Lady, I had a very pleasant conversation with Vladimir (Putin). I think we got it done.’ But she would say, ‘Wow, that’s strange, they just bombed…'”
So, Trump turned around completely.
Originally, he had been harshly criticizing Zelensky and had even suspended weapons supplies to Ukraine; now, he threatens sanctions against Russia, opening up supply of weapons to Ukraine.

Ukraine, aren’t you looking for Patriot missiles?
Trump: Immediately send them over; if you want them, just give me the whole package.
Ukraine says it needs 10 sets.
Trump swiftly writes off 17 sets, with many being delivered within a few days.
I see, according to French media assessments:
This policy shift is nothing short of astonishing. Trump had always been cautious in supporting Ukraine and opposed the provision of offensive weapons.
Of course, given Trump’s nature, the United States would not be handing out freebies.
Americans provide weapons, Europeans pay the bills, and then transfer them to Ukraine.
Anticipating an unexpected windfall: Each Patriot system costs $1 billion, and Trump has boasted that part of this plan has brought profits to the United States.
Moreover, Trump claims that the United States might also provide medium-to-long-range missiles for bombing Moscow.
Firstly, in this world, what we can be certain about is Trump’s uncertainty.
It’s estimated that Putin is surprised too; every time on the phone, we were talking well, but when the call ended, Trump suddenly turned against us.
It’s likely that Zelensky was also surprised; he was constantly scolded by Trump, but now he has completely turned around and treated him well.
But, can you guarantee that Trump won’t turn around again in 10 days?
Secondly, in Trump’s eyes, tariffs seem to be truly magical.
Discontent with Brazil, with a 50% tariff, the highest worldwide. Brazil is dumbfounded because in trade between the United States and Brazil, the United States still maintains a trade surplus.
Now, discontent with Russia, adding a 100% tariff.
Russia probably finds itself at a loss for words; we have no export products to the United States, and Trump, how did you manage to add 100% tariffs everywhere?
Trump then said, “Secondary tariffs!”
But will India and China fall for this trick? Oh, some EU member states are also buying Russian oil, so what about another EU tariff increase?
Thirdly, let’s see how Putin will deal with Trump.

In this world, the art of making tofu with brine is a match made in heaven.
It’s not out of the question that Trump has been sending various weapons, missiles hitting Moscow, and Americans have earned a tidy sum from the arms trade. But will Russia be content?
It’s also not out of the question that Putin might call Trump again, prompting Trump to change his mind. The Patriot missiles are off the table, and the military aid payments we’ve received from Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Denmark—we won’t back down on those…
Isn’t this turning into a double entendre?
