On the 15th local time, General of the Israel Defense Forces, Zalman, announced a series of decisions regarding the restructuring and senior officer appointments within the IDF.
The IDF stated that these adjustments and changes are part of routine personnel management following the end of an officer’s term, involving several key command positions, including the Northern Command, the Deep Operations Headquarters, and the Planning and Force Design Bureau. All appointments have been approved by the Minister of Defense, Katz. The new officers will be appointed in succession over the coming months.
These adjustments aim to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the Israeli Defense Forces’ command structure to address current and future security challenges.
