According to Reuters, President Donald Trump stated on the 16th that the United States might implement tariff rates against Japan in accordance with the previously-sent letter, and may soon reach a trade agreement with India.
Trump recently wrote to Japanese leaders, stating that he would impose a 25% tariff on imports from Japan starting from August 1st.
