It has been reported that the number of fatalities in the capsizing incident at Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, has risen to 38.
On the afternoon of July 19th local time, a ferry carrying 53 people capsized due to thunderstorms in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Following the accident, the relevant departments in Guang Ning Province immediately deployed rescue efforts, with search and rescue operations still ongoing.
The Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, issued an urgent notice on the same day, demanding an immediate commencement of search and rescue operations for the capsizing incident at Ha Long Bay, with full efforts made towards ensuring proper aftermath management. (Reported by Fu Xinri, CCTV)
