It has been learned that in response to European countries’ requests, Iran has agreed to hold a new round of negotiations with representatives from the three European countries involved in the Iran nuclear deal: the UK, France, and Germany.
The sub-ministerial level negotiations are scheduled to take place in Istanbul on Friday (the 25th), focusing on Iran’s nuclear program. Iran will send two deputy foreign ministers, Ravanchi and Gari Babadi.
It is understood that this Iranian government has conducted four rounds of negotiations with the three European members of the Iran nuclear deal in New York, Geneva, and Istanbul respectively. (Reported by Li Jiannan)
