Fox News stated that this represents Trump’s endorsement of the recent claims made by National Security Director Tulsidas Gabbard about the 2016 fabrication of evidence linking the Trump administration to Russia.
On July 20th, Trump shared this 45-second video on the “Reality Social” platform. In the video, Trump and Obama first sit together in the Oval Office of the White House, before Obama is captured by特工 under the song “YMCA.” When Obama is arrested and eventually put into prison, an AI-generated Trump smiles. In prison, an AI-generated Obama wears an orange jumpsuit. This video has been widely shared across various social media platforms.
Before sharing this video, Gabbard accused Obama and his intelligence chief of fabricating evidence linking Trump to Russia. During a segment on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” on July 20th, Gabbard said, “Frankly, this matter has historical significance.” She also mentioned her plan to submit documents to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) for criminal charges.
On July 18th local time, the Office of the National Intelligence Director released a statement stating that there is evidence indicating that during the year 2016, then-President Obama and members of his national security cabinet attempted to overturn Trump’s election victory by fabricating intelligence after Trump won the presidential election.
