[Report] According to a report by the New York Post on the 22nd, the media learned that President Donald Trump has decided to withdraw from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
“Trump has decided that the United States will withdraw from UNESCO,” quoted Anna Kerry, Deputy Press Secretary at the White House, “This administration will always prioritize the interests of the United States, ensuring that our country’s membership in all international organizations aligns with our national interests.”
The United States had previously withdrawn from UNESCO but later rejoined. In October 2017, the U.S. State Department announced its withdrawal from UNESCO. By 2023, the U.S. had once again rejoined the organization.
