According to a report by TASS, citing data from the analysis firm Autostat, Russia’s second-hand electric vehicle sales in the first half of 2025 reached 5,537 units, marking a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
Specifically, in terms of brand sales rankings, Nissan leads the market with 2,000 units sold, followed by Zeekr (by Hyundai) with 828 units and Tesla with 705 units. Volkswagen and Russian local brand Evolute also made it into the top five, with sales of 262 and 225 units respectively.
Looking at model categories, during the first half of the year, the Nissan Leaf was the most popular model in the used electric vehicle market, with nearly 2,000 units sold. The Zeekr 001 followed closely with 581 units, while Tesla Model 3 and Model Y were sold separately, with 325 and 169 units, ranking third and fourth, respectively. (Xinhua Finance)
