Upon receiving the Hamas response to the proposal, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu convened a small-scale government meeting with senior officials from Israel’s security department to discuss a so-called “alternative plan” for Gaza, aimed at pressuring Hamas and achieving Israeli military objectives.
It is understood that the measures involve military operations, including siege of the Gaza Strip and occupation of more land in the Gaza Strip, as well as exerting pressure on foreign Hamas leaders through assistance from the United States. (Reported by Zhao Bing, CCTV)
