On July 25th, local time, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement stating that on the same day, Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Khusheen, had a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi. During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, the two parties also discussed the progress of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the UK, France, and Germany in Turkey, as well as the factors currently hindering Iran from resuming negotiations with the United States. (CCTV News, Wang Yin)
