Cailian Press, August 1 – Amazon reported revenue of $167.7 billion in its second fiscal quarter, a year-over-year increase of 13%, with an estimated revenue of $162.15 billion. The operating profit was $19.17 billion, up 31% from the previous year, with an estimated profit of $17.0 billion. Net income reached $18.16 billion, marking a 34.7% increase compared to the prior period, with earnings per share at $1.68, up from $1.59 in the previous quarter and estimated at $1.33. The company forecasts net sales for the third quarter to be between $1,740 billion and $1,795 billion, with an estimated figure of $1,732.4 billion. It anticipates operating profits to range between $15.5 billion and $20.5 billion, with an estimated profit of $19.42 billion.
