On the first day of August, it felt like the most angry day since Trump’s 2.0 era.
Employment data was dismal, shocking the market, and the stock market plummeted immediately. In a fit of anger, Trump resigned the director of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, who had just released the report.
For Trump, the entire West was cowering in fear, except for Russian former President Medvedev, who remained unfazed with his mockery and furious words. Angry Trump publicly announced his intention to send two nuclear submarines.
You didn’t miss anything; this is what happened on the first day of August, so dramatic.
Trump was feeling enraged.
Early in the morning, he was already very angry. On August 1st, before dawn, he was already lashing out on social media, criticizing Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell as “unyielding” because no matter how Trump softened or hardened, Powell wouldn’t back down, and the Fed wouldn’t cut interest rates. According to American law, Trump couldn’t fire Powell.
So, Trump resorted to cursing. He declared:
“If Powell continues to refuse, the Federal Reserve Board should take over (the interest rate policy), doing what everyone knows must be done!”
The president demanding that a department replace its head is quite surprising, but that’s the current state of America.
What made Trump even more angry was yet to come.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics released employment data, causing a stir in the market.
In July, the number of non-farm payroll jobs in the US increased by only 73,000, far below the economists’ previous forecast of 100,000.
More crucially, according to the revised data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of new jobs added in June dropped from 147,000 to 14,000, and in May, it was adjusted down from 125,000 to 19,000.
Over the past three months, the average growth in non-farm payroll jobs in the US was only 35,000, marking the worst performance since the pandemic began.
This indicates that the US economy is in dire straits, making it difficult for Americans to find jobs.

Given the dire data and the impact of Trump’s tariff war, the U.S. stock market experienced a “Black Friday,” with all three major indices plummeting, with the Nasdaq index falling by 2.24%.
In a fury, Trump immediately announced:
Dr. Erik McKinney, Director of the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Trump accused her of manipulating the monthly employment report “for political purposes” without evidence.
Trump thus proclaimed to the world:
“In my view, today’s employment data is being manipulated, aimed at making Republicans and me look bad.”
A single statement: The data you release is all false; our economy is now thriving.
However, when a piece of data falls short, the responsible person for releasing it is dismissed, leaving Americans in shock.
I saw on social media that many people were defending McKinney.
She was a respected labor economist with over 20 years of federal government experience, serving during George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump’s first term. She was fired because of unsatisfactory data, which is completely baffling.
“Just because the released data displeases the government, they immediately fire the person responsible…”
Horigan, director of the Pujohn Institute, harshly criticized, “They don’t understand what these numbers mean, nor do they grasp the reasons behind them, nor are they aware of the completeness of data collection…”
How can this be managed effectively?
Trump’s old rival, California Governor Gavin Newsom, also condemned:
The U.S. employment report for July fared below expectations. It was also revised down in May and June. Since 2020, we have not seen such a situation. Don’t let Donald Trump deceive you. He has disappointed the American people and ruined our economy.
Chuck Schumer, leader of the Senate Democrats, even mocked:
“What would a poor leader do when he hears bad news? He would execute the person who released the information.”

But Trump has another troublesome matter.
On August 1st, he suddenly announced:
Given the highly provocative remarks made by Demetriyev, the former Russian President and current Vice Chairman of the Russian Federal Security Council, I have ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines to relevant areas to prevent these foolish and incitement-inducing statements from being limited to this. Words are crucial; they often lead to unforeseen consequences, and I hope this is not one of them. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Trump was furious, saying that Xiao Mei is very disrespectful towards me.
After all, looking at the world today, most leaders now bow down to Trump, but only Xiao Mei, active on social media, mocks him with various cold jokes and sarcasm.
Trump had long been boiling with anger, the day before, he publicly issued a threat:
Tell Demetriyev, that failed former Russian President, who thinks he’s still the President, to be cautious and careful. He is stepping into an extremely dangerous situation!
But Xiao Mei completely ignored it, retorting back:
“Trump’s threat to me only shows one thing: if a few words from the former Russian President could shake the current President of the United States, then Russia clearly walks the right path. As for our ‘death economy’ and ‘dangerous territory’, perhaps Trump should revisit ‘The Walking Dead…’ and reflect on how terrifying the myth of ‘the death hand’ is.”
Previously, regarding Trump’s final demand for a ceasefire timeline for Russia, which was reduced from 50 days to 10 days, Xiao Mei immediately countered with:
“50 days or 10 days… He should remember two things: 1, Russia is not Israel, nor even Iran; 2, every new final demand is a threat, a step towards war. War is not between Russia and Ukraine, but against his own country. Don’t follow the footsteps of ‘Sleepy Joe (Biden)’!”

Feeling that it wasn’t enough, Medvedev added:
“‘When will we sit down at the negotiating table’, not you or Trump, is up to us. When our military operations are all achieved, negotiations will end. Mate, you should still prioritize America!”
It was indeed disrespectful to treat Trump as a mere pawn, and such an attitude towards him made Trump furious, ordering the immediate deployment of nuclear submarines.
This was quite an unusual move.
According to American media, the United States generally does not disclose the actions of its nuclear submarines, as these are highly classified military deployments.
After all, he is a former president, and Trump himself has some authority. But Trump wouldn’t back down; if you dare to disrespect me, I will deploy nuclear submarines.
Firstly, the United States isn’t as glamorous as it seems.
Anyway, in the mouths of Trump and his officials, the United States always wins, and it’s won big time.
However, labor data reveals a brutal truth: the U.S. economy is far from as glamorous as Trump claims, and instead, it faces numerous crises.
This should also be the most important reason why Trump “forced” Powell to cut interest rates quickly.
Secondly, Trump is increasingly angry.
Anger at Brazil, India, Russia, and the Americans who refuse to let go of the Epstein case.
Now, he’s also verbally abused little Me and ordered the deployment of nuclear submarines; anyone who releases bad data will be immediately fired.
At 80 years old, Trump feels a strong sense of frustration: I have fought valiantly for America, but you guys are dragging my feet.
If problems cannot be solved, then address the people who raise them first.
But does this mean the problem doesn’t exist anymore?
Anyway, there’s definitely more to come.
A slight disagreement leads to the deployment of nuclear submarines—isn’t this like preparing for a nuclear war with Russia?
Moreover, Trump’s resolute measures make sure no one dares to release bad news!
Too much complaining can lead to heartbreak. Trump, please take good care of yourself too!
