
On the 16th local time, Russian President Putin held a meeting in the Kremlin to summarize the results of the Alaska Summit.
The visit to Alaska was timely and very beneficial. All aspects of Russian-American cooperation were discussed at the summit, but the primary topic was mediating the Ukraine issue.
Putin said that during his visit to Alaska, he discussed with US President Trump the issue of resolving the Ukraine crisis on a fair basis, as well as the origins of the crisis. He pointed out that:
Eliminating its root causes should be the foundation of mediating the crisis.
On the 15th local time, US President Trump and Russian President Putin held a meeting at the Elmen多夫-Richardson Joint Military Base in Anchorage, Alaska. The meeting lasted for about three hours.
