On the local time of the 17th, the armed faction of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, known as the “City of Holy Warriors”, announced that they had attacked a group of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the northern part of Khan Younis in the south of Gaza on that day.
The organization issued a statement on social media announcing that they had fired multiple rockets at the Israeli settlements of Be’eri and Shokada “in response to the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against our people.”
