
After meeting with U.S. President Trump in Alaska, on August 17th, local time, according to the Kremlin News Agency, Russian President Putin made phone calls to the presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to inform them of the situation of his meeting with Trump.
According to the news released by the Kremlin News Agency, Lukashenko highly praised Russia’s efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis peacefully; Tokayev congratulated on the successful holding of the talks and believed that their purpose was to find a long-term solution to the Ukrainian crisis; Mirziyoyev highly appreciated the positive momentum of the high-level dialogue between Russia and the United States and emphasized the importance of a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian issue.
