On the 18th local time, the Financial Times quoted a document it had seen to report that Ukraine would commit to purchasing weapons and equipment worth $100 billion from the United States (funded by Europe) in exchange for security guarantees from the United States after reaching a peace agreement with Russia.
The report also stated that the United States and Ukraine would also sign another agreement on the cooperative production of drones worth $50 billion.
