On August 18th, Eastern Time, Ukrainian President Zelensky held a bilateral meeting with U.S. President Trump at the White House. Subsequently, several European leaders held multilateral meetings with Trump and Zelensky.
French President Macron stated in Washington that the meeting location between Putin and Zelensky will be determined within the next few hours. Macron said that if the process is blocked, additional pressure needs to be applied on Russia.
Macron stated that the tripartite meeting may be held in two or three weeks. Europe must have a seat at the negotiating table. (News)
