According to Emily Gaudin, a correspondent for the Daily Mail in the White House, when she asked whether Trump would “eject Musk out of the country,” Trump replied, “Let’s think about it.”
Gaudin posted on her social media account on July 1st, stating that after posing this question to Trump, he responded, “I don’t know, we need to consider. We might need to have the Department of Homeland Security focus on Elon (referring to Musk). Do you know what the Department of Homeland Security is? It’s a monster that could turn around and eat Elon.”
Considering the photos accompanying Gaudin’s post, her question was raised before Trump boarded his flight to “Crocodile Island” prison in Florida. Prior to this, Trump had stated that he would be visiting the newly opened illegal immigrant detention center on July 2nd, local time, to cut the ribbon.
