On July 1st, local time, the Chief Administrative Officer of the Republic of Udmurtia, Braichalov, reported that a company in Izhevsk, the capital of the Republic, was attacked by Ukrainian drones, resulting in three deaths and 35 injuries.
Ukrainian officials stated that the targeted company was an electrical machinery factory, producing anti-aircraft missile systems and attack drones for the Russian military.
The Russian Ministry of Defense released a combat report stating that over the past 24 hours, the Russian forces repelled multiple attacks from the Ukrainian army in directions including Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and launched several offensives. The Russian air defense forces shot down 173 fixed-wing drones belonging to the Ukrainian army.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released combat information on the same day, reporting 146 battles occurred in the frontline areas over the past day. The Ukrainian Air Force, missile units, and artillery struck concentrated areas of Russian military personnel, weapons, and equipment. As of 9 a.m. local time on July 1st, the Ukrainian forces shot down 47 Russian drones.
