On July 2nd, the Chinese Embassy in Iran issued a statement,
Reminding Chinese citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran for the time being.
Recently, Israel and Iran have achieved a ceasefire, but the regional situation remains highly uncertain, with the security situation in Iran remaining severe and complex. The Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reminded Chinese citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran. The Chinese Embassy in Iran has also advised Chinese citizens to strictly adhere to relevant safety warnings, protect themselves in the locality, prepare for emergencies, and avoid visiting sensitive areas. In case of emergency, they should report immediately and seek assistance from the Chinese Embassy in Iran or the Consulate General in Abadan.
If Chinese citizens insist on traveling to Iran, they may face extremely high safety risks and may affect the effectiveness of their assistance.
