So far, 4 have been confirmed dead, 31 have been rescued, and there are still 30 missing. Preliminary reports indicate that the ship was en route from Gizapang Port in East Java Province to Gilimanuk Port in Bali Island when the incident occurred. The vessel had 53 passengers, 12 crew members, and 22 vehicles on board. Shortly before the incident, the Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar, Indonesia, stated that preliminary investigations indicated no Chinese citizens were among those involved in the Indonesian shipwreck.
