CCTV International News, July 3rd report: On July 3rd, the Chief Administrative Officer of the Russian Far Eastern Territory, Oleksandr Koropyakin, revealed through social media that the Russian Navy Deputy Commander Mikhail Gudkov was killed alongside his comrades during an “operation” in Kursk Oblast, Russia.
Kursk Oblast borders Ukraine. Shortly before this, there were reports that Gudkov and another ten soldiers were killed in a strike on the Kremenivo command post in the Kursk region by Ukraine.
General Gudkov was appointed as the Deputy Commander of the Russian Navy on March 28th this year, responsible for the command and management of land warfare and shore defense forces.

According to the news, the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced on social media that around 9 a.m. local time on July 3rd, Russia launched an attack on the city of Portalka, triggering a fire.
The Military Administrative Head of Portalka, Vladimir Kogut, stated that the attack on Portalka by Russia resulted in two deaths and eleven injuries. An emergency command center has been established at the scene, with all rescue efforts underway. The Russian Ministry of Defense released combat updates on July 2nd stating that over the past day, Russian forces targeted Ukrainian military industries, Ukrainian drone assembly workshops and their storage warehouses, and Ukrainian weaponry depots. The Russian air defense system intercepted seven Ukrainian anti-aircraft bombs and shot down 131 drones.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces expressed on social media on July 2nd that Russian forces continuously sent infantry and reconnaissance teams attempting to enter Dachine village in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, but were repelled by Ukrainian forces. It is reported that Dachine village is only 28 kilometers away from the important logistics hub of the Ukrainian army’s Mezhdunarodnyy Donets (DND) in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
