On June 28th, a spokesperson for the Houthi armed forces in Yemen, Yahya Saleh, announced that the Houthi forces had successfully launched a “Zoletifika” ballistic missile at a target located in Beersheba, southern Israel.
He stated that the Houthi forces would not relent in their support for the Palestinian people and would continue to take action until Israel ceases its aggression against the Gaza Strip and lifts its siege.
Earlier on the 28th, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had reported detecting a missile from Yemen, leading to alarms being sounded across various parts of Israel. The IDF claimed that the missile was “very likely” successfully intercepted.
