On June 28th, local time, Mahdi Ansari, the Vice President of Iran in charge of judicial affairs, announced that
the Iranian government has decided to establish a special legal task force to “review the acts of aggression committed by Israel and the United States.”
In a statement, Mahdi Ansari stated that, following decisions and coordination reached at recent high-level meetings in Iran, the Iranian side has decided to form a specialized task force. This group will consist of renowned experts and lawyers from central government and provincial scientific and legal authority institutions. The task force will conduct a comprehensive review of legal issues related to military aggression against Iran, violations of Iranian territory and sovereignty, threats to the integrity of Iran’s national territory, assassinations of senior members of the Iranian military and security sectors, as well as nuclear scientists, and killings of Iranian civilians by the United States and Israel. He expressed that Iran would continue to do its utmost to defend the rights of the Iranian people. (CCTV Li Xiang)
