[Report by Li Ziyu] According to a report by the “Indian Express” on July 1st, a Boeing 737 aircraft operated by Batik Air made an emergency landing at Jakarta’s Subang Jaya International Airport in Indonesia on June 28th. The flight was nearly catastrophic due to severe weather conditions.
The “Indian Express” cited video footage showing that the plane, carrying 177 passengers, attempted to land safely amidst the storm. However, its fuselage tilted towards one side, and its wings almost touched the ground. Fortunately, the plane ultimately landed safely without any casualties.
The report also mentioned that the pilots followed standard operating procedures throughout the entire flight. A spokesperson for the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation commended the pilots.
