On June 30th, local time, American entrepreneur Elon Musk once again took to social media to criticize the “big and beautiful” bill introduced by the Republican Party in the United States.
Musk stated that the “crazy spending” of the “big and beautiful” bill would increase the debt ceiling to a record five trillion dollars.
In his post, Musk also criticized the Republican Party, hinting at it as the “PORKY PIG PARTY.” Furthermore, he mentioned that it was time for a new party that truly cared about the people.
Previously, Musk had repeatedly criticized the tax reform bill pushed by Trump and expressed the need for a new political party in the United States.
On June 28th, local time, Musk posted on social media that the latest draft of the Senate’s large-scale tax and expenditure bill “will destroy millions of jobs in the United States and cause significant strategic damage.”
On May 22nd, local time, after the House of Representatives passed the massive tax and expenditure bill referred to as “big and beautiful” by Trump, Musk expressed dissatisfaction, stating that this bill would increase the federal deficit and “go against the goals being pursued by the Department of the Treasury.” (Liu Xu)
