On July 1st, local time, the Israeli Defense Ministry released an assessment report on the “Rising Lion” operation,
detailing the performance of several Israeli-developed weapon systems in this military campaign against Iran.
The report states that the Israeli multi-layered air defense system successfully intercepted 86% of Iranian ballistic missiles and more than 99% of drones. The Israeli drones completed over 500 strike missions within Iranian territory. Additionally, the Israeli satellite system captured more than 12,000 high-definition images within Iranian territory.
Furthermore, the report mentions that Israel has been continuously upgrading its anti-missile systems such as “Iron Dome,” “Javelin,” and “David’s Slingshot” in recent years. Successful tests for the “Iron Dome” interception of drone groups were conducted before the operation. (CCTV Reporter: Liang Hui)
