Poland’s elected President Karol Naftowicz
The Supreme Court of Poland ruled that the results of the 2025 presidential election in Poland are legal and valid.
On the same day, a special review panel composed of 18 judges from the Supreme Court of Justice determined that Karol Naftowicz’s election as President of Poland on June 1st this year is legally valid.
The chairperson of the panel, Krzysztof Wiak, noted that despite receiving numerous protests against the election results, none had any substantive impact on the outcome.
On June 1st, during the second round of voting for the Polish President, independent candidate Karol Naftowicz was elected with 50.89% of the votes, while his opponent, the ruling party Civic Union candidate Rafał Tezakowskic, received 49.11% of the votes. (CCTV News, Xu Ming)
