On July 1st, local time, President Donald Trump posted on his social media platform “Reality Social” that the United States had held a “long and fruitful” meeting with Israeli representatives regarding the Gaza issue.
Israel has agreed to implement the conditions necessary for achieving a 60-day ceasefire.
Trump stated that during this period, the United States will collaborate with all parties to strive towards ending this conflict. Qatar and Egypt have been making significant efforts to promote peace, and they will submit this final proposal.
According to previous reports, Qatar had submitted a new proposal for a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip to Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which includes a 60-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. (Zhao Miao, CCTV)
