On the evening of July 2nd, local time, Iran held a ceremony in the center of Tehran city to commemorate the Iranian personnel who have lost their lives in this round of the Iran-Israel conflict. The event was attended by several high-ranking officials including President Hassan Rouhani.
Mohammad Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, stated that:
If the enemy once again launches an aggression against Iran, Iran will respond with a more devastating response.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Ali Karbasian, remarked that Israel is entirely dependent on the support of Western countries. Without it, Israel cannot survive. Karbasian noted that the United States not only supports Israel but also directly attacks Iran. However, Iran’s decisive and powerful counterattack forced them to withdraw at the earliest opportunity. (Reporter Li Jiannan)
