On July 3rd, local time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated at a press conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, that direct meetings between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia are essential for achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine.
Zelensky pointed out that US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are two very different individuals, and it is currently unclear whether they share many common views or topics. However, from Ukraine’s perspective, the Ukrainian side has always supported the unconditional ceasefire initiative proposed by Trump earlier. (Reported by Dong Wei, CCTV)
