In a bar in Hino, Akita Prefecture, Japan, a stabbing incident occurred at around 6:00 AM on the 6th. Two staff members were fatally wounded and the suspect was apprehended on the spot.
According to the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), the incident took place around 1:00 AM on the 6th. The suspect, a 41-year-old unemployed male frequent patron of the bar, entered with two knives and subsequently stabbed the bar staff. Both victims were rushed to the hospital but succumbed to their injuries.
Additionally, Kyodo News reported that both deceased individuals were women in their twenties. After being arrested by the police, the suspect has confessed to his actions. Local police are currently conducting further investigations.
