On the 5th local time, a small plane crashed in the Alpine mountainous region of western Austria,

The authorities have initiated an accident investigation.
According to Deutsche Presse-Agentur, citing information from the Austrian police, the incident occurred around 12:45 local time, at the eastern town of Kirchner in Innsbruck, with favorable weather conditions at the time.
The small plane took off from Schlossberg, near Munich, Germany, and crashed on the site. The local fire department reported that the crash site was rugged and the fire spread to nearby forests, causing minor wildfires. Emergency rescue personnel were dispatched from the surrounding area to participate in search and firefighting efforts.

As reported by the Austrian news agency, the victims were three men and one woman, believed to be German nationals, whose details are still unclear.
