On the evening of July 4th, local time,
Indian Prime Minister Modi arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital, to commence his state visit. This marks the first visit by an Indian leader to Argentina since Jawaharlal Nehru’s visit in 1968.
On the 5th, Argentine President Mireá met with Modi at the presidential palace, focusing primarily on trade cooperation in strategic sectors such as agriculture, lithium mining, energy, and nuclear energy.
Following this meeting, Modi is scheduled to travel to Brazil, where he will attend the 17th G20 Leaders’ Summit in Rio de Janeiro. (Reported by Gong Xiangcheng)
