On July 5th, local time, it was learned that the flood disaster in Texas, USA, has resulted in an increase in the death toll to 51, including 15 children.
Rescue operations are still ongoing, with the death toll expected to rise further.
It is reported that the flood disaster in Ker County, Texas, has already claimed 43 lives, including 15 children. Additionally, Travis County has recorded 4 deaths, Burnet County has 3, and Kendal County has 1.
Earlier on the same day, Larry Lesser, the Police Chief of Ker County, Texas, stated at a meeting that as of the morning of the 5th, over 850 people have been rescued from the flood. Rescue efforts will continue until all missing persons are found. President Trump of the United States stated on the evening of the 4th that the federal government would provide post-disaster assistance.
Ker County is the main area affected by this flood disaster.
