On July 6th, local time, the leader of Lebanese Hezbollah, Kassem, made a speech reiterating Lebanon’s continued resistance against Israel and stating that they will never give up their weapons.
Kassem condemned Israel’s ongoing aggression and emphasized that the enemy continues to occupy Lebanese territory, clearly violating the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel.
Kassem stated, “We will never yield to this aggression,” and expressed a determination to persist in resistance. He reaffirmed his firm refusal to achieve normal relations with Israel.
In response to pressure from the US and Israel for Hezbollah to surrender its weapons, especially missile silos, Kassem declared, “Weapons are the cornerstone of defensive power and we will never relinquish them.” (CCTV Reporter: Yang Yuan)
