According to previous reports by Shams, center Hayes has signed a one-year contract to return to the Lakers. Hayes is under a non-bird rights contract, with his salary being 120% of the minimum salary for six years of experience, amounting to $3.45 million.
Last season, Hayes played in 56 games for the Lakers, averaging 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, with a shooting percentage of 72.2%.
