Liberia’s delegation confirmed at an international maritime organization meeting held in London on July 8th that the “Eternity C” cargo ship, operated by a Greek shipping company, was attacked by drones and speedboats near Yemen waters on the 7th, resulting in the death of two crew members.
Robert Wilmot Carpade, the permanent representative of Liberia to the International Maritime Organization, stated during the meeting that while Liberia was still dealing with the attack on the “Magic Ocean” cargo ship, it received another report about the “Eternity C” being attacked. He expressed that any attack based on political reasons is completely unacceptable, irrational, and illogical. Liberia will release a complete statement after completing all investigations into the attacks on both ships. (Xinhua News Agency)
