NBA Summer League, July 11th news: The Thunder faced the Nets today in the summer league. The former team had already played three games with one win and two losses, while the latter was making their debut.
The game started off with a fast-paced play where the Thunder quickly got into the groove and took the lead. However, the Nets later caught up, but failed to score in the last two minutes of the first quarter. The Thunder capitalized on this opportunity by scoring 8 points consecutively. In the second quarter, the Nets attempted to catch up multiple times, but were unable to overtake. When the second half resumed, the Nets launched a 11-0 run to turn the tide, and the Thunder responded promptly by scoring 8 points. The gap widened significantly after this, and at the end of the third quarter, both teams failed to score for almost three minutes. Eventually, the Thunder broke the deadlock first, scoring four consecutive points. The Nets didn’t get any opportunities thereafter, and ultimately, the Thunder secured another victory over the Nets.
