NBA Summer League: Cavaliers vs. Pacers
The game began with both teams briefly holding their ground at the start. After switching sides, the Cavaliers’ shooting percentage dropped, but the Pacers fought back hard, repeatedly attacking the interior and frequently scoring to surge ahead by 21-7. They managed to close the gap to only one point. The Cavaliers stabilized the situation with continuous shots and penalties, and in the final quarter, they completed a 11-0 run to regain a double-digit lead. However, they suddenly lost their rhythm, and the Pacers responded with a 13-2 run to overtake them at critical moments. At the crucial moment, Freeman made both free throws, and Tracy McGrady missed a long three-pointer, ultimately leading to a narrow defeat for the Cavaliers against the Pacers.
