According to Mirko Di Natale, Xiao Kousen has a 20% share of his next transfer fee.
Inter Milan’s contact with Xiao Kousen is becoming more frequent. The management of the Bianconeri has made it clear: they hope to buy him out completely, but will not follow the 30 million euro release clause.
Negotiations are ongoing and will continue until July 15th, the deadline for completing the transaction at the release price. Starting from July 16th, Xiao Kousen’s value will rise to approximately 45 million euros.
It is understood that Xiao Kousen was sold to Ajax for 5 million euros, maintaining a very high salary level. However, his performance in that season was average, and then Porto brought him back through a loan with an option to buy, repurchasing him for 10 million euros.
Given that Porto’s then-chairman D’Agosto was unable to continue paying Xiao Kousen’s high salary during his time in the Netherlands, he decided to compensate him with 20% of the total future transfer amount.
At the same time, Porto and Xiao Kousen negotiated and established the current 30 million euro release clause, which seems too low for his potential.
According to Portugal, this agreement was strictly kept confidential until Boas was elected as the new club president, only then was it revealed.
